HOW IT WORKS: The dial on the side controls magnets that slow down the spool at the end of your cast.

• Too little brake? The spool spins faster than the lure flies = TANGLE.

• Too much brake? The cast is cut short = NO DISTANCE.

🟢 THE SAFE ZONE (Settings 7 – 10)

• Best For: Beginners, Casting into strong wind, or very light lures.

• Result: Shorter, controlled casts. Almost impossible to tangle.

• Action: Start here!

🟡 THE MIDDLE GROUND (Settings 4 – 6)

• Best For: Everyday fishing with standard lure weights.

• Result: Good balance of distance and control.

🔴 THE “PRO” ZONE (Settings 0 – 3)

• Best For: Experienced casters, calm days, heavy lures, maximum distance.

• Result: The spool spins freely. High risk of backlash if you don’t thumb the spool correctly.
